It was a busy day in New York on Saturday, with no less than four stakes races on the card at Aqueduct. We previewed those races on Friday, so we thought it might be good to share the horse racing results from those races, so let’s get right to it.

Race #4 Remsen Stakes (G2)
The most important race on the Saturday card, the Remsen Stakes, was part of the Road to the Derby, so there were some valuable points up for grans. It proved to be a fantastic finish, with Brooklyn Strong winning by a neck at odds of 7/1. He edged ahead of Ten for Ten, who had led the entire way, coming into the stretch three-wide and powering home. The top four finishers in the race picked up Derby qualification points, with Known Agenda and Pickin’ Time finishing third and fourth, respectively.
Race #6 Go For Wand Handicap (G3)
It was another great finis in the sixth race at Aqueduct, with a neck one against separating first from second. Sharp Starr trailed Portal Creek from the off; but he got up late to edge it at the wire, paying $4.50 for the win. Nonna Madeline started the race as the joint favorite with the winner, finishing 12 lengths back of the front two. The Superfecta was rounded out by Stand for the Flag,
Race #9 Demoiselle Stakes (G2)
There were no real surprises in this race, with the odds-on favorite coming out on top. Malathaat was made to work for the win; though, coming good down the home stretch to get ahead of Millefueille at the finish line. Malibu Curl looked to be in the hunt as the leaders turned for home; but he weakened coming down the stretch, holding on to take third. Not a huge payday for bettors, with Malathaat paying $2.90 for the win.
Race #10 Cigar Mile Handicap (G1)
The day’s final race was one of the best horse racing results for bettors, especially for those playing the Exacta. It was True Timber finishing first, paying $16.60 for the win. He took control at the ¾ pole and never looked back, holding off Snapper Sinclair and Performer. The $1 Exacta paid $66.75.
