This race is generally a place for some of the best filly sprinters in North America as four of these ten horses have won graded stakes and four others have finished in the money at graded stakes.
Finite has the top career earning in the field, at more than $650,000 – the bulk of it from her win at the Rachel Alexandra Stakes (Grade II) in February. Venetian Harbor won the Las Virgenes Stakes (Grade II) in February and finished just behind Gamine in the Test Stakes (Grade I).
Tonalist’s Shape has won six races in nine starts, including a victory in February at the Davona Dale Stakes (Grade II). However, her last race saw her get stuck in traffic and come in fifth at the Charles Town Oaks (Grade III).
Four Graces won on seven furlongs over this same course in July, at the Beaumont Stakes (Grade III). Never Forget came in third at the Eight Bells. Grand Cru Classe won the Weber City Miss Stakes in September and is vying for her first win in a graded stakes.
Reagan’s Edge came in second at the Prioress Stakes (Grade II), and Secret Keeper was the runner-up in her last race, the Torrey Pines Stakes (Grade III), so you have a deep field of talent here.
Autumn Miss Stakes (Santa Anita Park, 8:15 pm ET, TVG)
